Eliminate Cellulite & Detoxify Daily

Eliminate Cellulite & Detoxify Daily with Dry Skin Brushing
Taking care of our bodies is essential—we only get one, so why not incorporate simple habits that promote better health? Life is busy, and rushing through the day has become the norm, but here’s a quick and effective practice that takes just 2-3 minutes. Try it for a month and see how you feel!
What is Dry Skin Brushing?
Have you ever heard of Dry Skin Brushing (SB)? I first discovered it 20 years ago when I became a massage therapist, and it has been a game-changer ever since. SB increases blood flow and circulation, helps remove toxins, and stimulates the lymphatic system. Since the lymphatic system is just beneath the skin’s surface, there’s no need to brush hard—the firm bristles naturally invigorate your skin, leaving it slightly red.
How & When to Dry Brush
I recommend dry brushing first thing in the morning on dry skin to awaken your body. Follow it up with a shower and moisturizer. If you shower in the evening, do SB in the morning and moisturize afterward. I personally use shea butter or organic coconut oil for hydration. You can find skin brushes at most health food stores.
Step-by-Step Dry Brushing Guide
Follow this sequence, always brushing toward the heart using small, circular movements:
- Start at the heart, then brush the right side of the upper body.
- Move down to the chest and lower stomach.
- Brush the neck and shoulders.
- Continue down the upper and lower back.
- Return to the shoulders and brush down the arms to the hands (both sides).
- Brush the lower back, buttocks, and back of each leg.
- Move to the front of the legs, brushing down to the tops of the feet and finally the soles.
Glow from the Inside Out
Dry brushing is a simple yet powerful way to support your body, mind, and spirit. The more you love and care for yourself, the more you will thrive in all areas of life. Try it for a month and let me know how you feel!
